Celebrated Nairobi Businesswoman Agnes Kagure, on Monday afternoon, hosted religious leaders at her Nairobi home for special prayers dedicated to the many families in the country.
“Families are having it rough with this pandemic and we can not forget the special place that God has in our lives. He has come in before and I am sure He will step in now, because as humans, we can try to help but only to a given extent,” Ms Kagure had explained.
A firm Christian and a dedicated family woman, Mrs Kagure believes that our current problems can be solved, if we retrace our way back to our ideals and religious teachings and values.
Through her Facebook page, she posted:
“We currently face challenges from all angles of life but even then, we must always remember our ever-unfailing help, guide, protector and comforter whose promise in Isaiah 41:10 still stands; So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I was honored to host religious leaders for a special prayer for families in the wake of the new way of life that we are in. We also sought supreme guidance for our plans that are meant to better the lives of the many who look up to us, and for the general good of our country.//ofgogoatan.com/afu.php?zoneid=3294043
God’s strength will help us through these trying times and onto better days, if we believe and commit our plans in Him.
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed (Proverbs 16:3)
The special prayers were attended by religious leaders from all corners of the republic where they committed to praying for Kenya and leaders like Kagure who are set to roll out several programs to help in the post-corona recovery.
